Amon Amarth es una banda de Death Melódico formada en 1992 en Tumba, Suecia. Es Death Metal Melódico con contenido acerca de los vikingos y cosas asi, de echo, el mismo nombre de la banda, Amon Amarth, es una palabra que sigifica " Monte Del Destino" en el idioma Sindarin (creada por el autor del "Señor de Los Anillos").
